Got a nail in my tyre, managed to get to Simpson & Edge who immediately reassured me that they could repair the tyre long term due to where the nail had punctured the tyre wall. This was all completed swiftly & at a competitive price - great service & thanks again! I'd been recommended this garage following a relative who has used them several times for more complex services including DPF cleaning & maintenance and servicing.

Came back from holiday and my car wouldn’t start. Phoned Simpson and Edge up and they came and they came the next morning. Started the car and then took it back to the garage to test the battery. They phoned to say it wasn’t holding the charge so a new battery was required. Gave them the go ahead and within a few hours they phoned to say the car was ready. I have always had exceptional service from this garage, nothing is too much trouble and they are very fair on prices. Would recommend this garage all the time.

Simpson & Edge recently replaced the cam belt and water pump on my Fiat Ducato Camper. Whilst this work seemed to go OK, I was dismayed to find out on holiday a week later that they had damaged the split charge system so that I was not getting any charge to the leisure battery while driving. Investigation showed that two 60A fuses had blown. This is not a single fault and cannot be attributed to anything else except a direct short to earth of both terminals of the split charge relay which is situated on the side of the van battery directly above the cam belt cover.
On my return from holiday, I presented my Camper back to Simpson and Edge, where they flatly refused that they had blown the fuses, even though they could not offer any other explanation for the fault.
All I wanted was an acceptance and an apology, I had repaired the fault myself, although it cost me a day of my holiday.
I cannot accept being lied to by the garage and will not be returning to Simpson & Edge in the future.
