The problem was to provide a floor able stand up to the riggors of a very popular and busy public house on Makland Hill. We hand crafted an Engineered 20mm thick Distressed Oak Floor finished with Satin Wax-Oil. Just one of our hand finished range of floors. For others see www.hmcflooring.com
This installation required a Tough Hard Wearing Floor subject to all the use and abuse expected in a buisy Public House. The floor is Cleaned Daily and often wet with spilled drinks etc. A birch backed Engineered Board with 7mm Oak layer was chosen for Long Lasting Floor able to keep it's good looks
Individual Oak parquet blocks 270 x 70 x 20mm arranged in 4 x 4 Basket Weave format. We installed over 350 sqm on 3 floors finishing with Satin Wax-oil. The installation is at Summerhill House, a Grade II Listed Georgian Mansion in The Lake District. For other pictures go to www.hmcflooring.com

This is a floor in typical Herringbone Parquet format made from 600 x 100 x 21mm Engineered Oak Parquet Blocks installed over under floor heating. The floor was finished with 3 coats of Bona Traffic polyurethane lacquer Satin Finish. For more pictures go to www.hmcflooring.com

This Exotic Merbau Floor was fitted throughout the whole Ground Floor of this Modern, Architect Designed Home. The Flooring Strips were Square Edged and Finished on Site by Sanding and Sealing with Satin Wax - Oil.
This floor was levelled using a screed and a liquid Damp Proof Membrane applied prior to installing the wood flooring
