Unprofessional, hostile and traumatising

Booked the service over the phone few days before the move as the initial removal company had cancelled without notifying us. Booked two people and a van because there was a large amount of stuff to move and several sets of stair to manoeuvre. On the day, the driver arrived late alone, informed me that the second person called in sick however explained that a possible replacement was on their way. 1 hour and a half later, he decides that he won’t wait for the second person and finally starts moving my belongings. Some time into loading the van he decides that it’s loaded wrong and starts reloading the whole thing instead of bribing further belongings. Whilst completing this very useless task he drops the TV and damages other items. Eventually a second person arrives who is very helpful and finishes loading the van. The drive to the new address is 1h 30min but they take 2h. Upon arrival they refuse to open the van and unload whilst requesting more money because he wasted time earlier.

horrible experience

I had a very bad experience with Sigma removals, they confirmed pickup time and location and I telephonically specified with them that we very tight on time. Half an hour after the pickup time the van driver called us saying that he was 1h30 away form the pickup location!!! Even worse, as I complained with the van driver he answered that he was communicated about the job by sigma removals only 10 minutes before!!! completely screwed up my plans and made me loose money and sigma removals phone was disconnected for the whole time this chaos occurred, please do yourself a favour and contact a different van company
