Established in 1987. My business began as an extension of my hobby - sewing. I began sewing when I was 11 years of age and my mum bought me a hand sewing machine. My first job was making a dress for myself and four sisters ~ all in orange gingham.(At the time these looked good!!) Now I operate my business from a shop in Milton, Cambridge. We undertake any clothing alterations however small or large. We are approved by major high street retailers in Cambridge and undertake clothing alterations for Marks & Spencers, Suits You, Austin Reed and Anthonys.

Beautiful yellow velvet curtains

I had some large yellow velvet curtains made. I took in the dimensions of my window and was advised on exactly how much material I would need. They took a little longer to make than expected but well worth the wait. They are perfect and look amazing. I will definitely be using them again.

I have used Shiralee to have numerous items of clothing altered over the years. I have always been thrilled with the results and still am having just picked up 2 dresses and a maxi skirt ALL altered to perfection especially the highly patterned maxi skirt. Highly recommend the whole team for skills and friendliness.
