We provide professional plant hire and operation in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the surrounding areas, and offer a wide range of plant and machinery to construction, agricultural and equestrian industries.

With over 15 years experience, we have a modern fleet of diggers, mini-diggers, and dumpers, including a new JCB 4CX Super backhoe with excellent performance and reach. All of the equipment we hire is of the latest and highest specification and will accept a range of accessories, including hydraulic breakers.

Our services are reliable and professional. We pride ourselves on completing all work to the highest standards.

Health and Safety is taken very seriously at SG Plant Services. All operators are full trained in modern procedures, for the safety of themselves and other people on site.

Superb.... Wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is the second large project that Steve has completed for us. There's around 300 metres of post and rail fencing across an undulating field, lots of 16 foot gates and a water supply going 70 metres into the field. The workmanship is outstanding and the cost is always reasonable. We will definitely use Steve again in the future because he just can't be beat on quality and cost. Thanks Steve!!

Steve has done a first class job on the groundwork for our new stable block. The results are above and beyond our expectations for a very reasonable cost which has included piping water and electric services to site along with soak away drains. Everything that Steve does from preparations to finishing is to a very high standard with state of the art equipment. I would highly recommend Steve’s services to anyone contemplating a big or small groundwork project.

Just had driveway and parking spaces created and the works carried out have been excellent from start to finish. Nothing has been too much trouble and the assistance in helping with landscaping the garden from surplus top soil was invaluable. Steve is clearly a person that knows his trade, very professional and takes considerable pride in the service he delivers. Would strongly recommend to anyone.
