I did the 2 Castles Run on 11th June and 95% of the "security" were volunteers in hi-viz who were polite and professional. When we got to Kenilworth Castle, Semper security were there and their attitude was better suited to a nightclub at chucking out time, than a 10km run.
One Semper operative confronted me (with a colleague as backup) as to why I'd taken his photo (in a public place, or a place to which the public have access you can take photos of whatever you like AND Semper should know this). Seeking out their supervisor only resulted in him repeating that I was "degrading my colleague" by describing him negatively.
I spoke to the 2 Castles Race Director after the run who apologised and said that the hired security had dropped out 5 days earlier and they'd hired Semper as a replacement.
As an ex cop (yes Semper, I was telling the truth when I said that) 80% of communication is body language and tone and these guys REALLY need to learn what "horses for courses" means

A very approachable & friendly security team. Feel very safe in their hands. Whenever I have witnessed problems they have dealt with them swiftly and in a professional manor with the back up of body cameras for customer and security safety.

Outstanding company used for an event of mine and kept everyone safe all of them were very professional great customer service from the beginning to the end and after two thank you again would definitely use them again
