Business overview

Friendly independent swim school offering a great range of swimming classes for all abilities from timid beginner to advanced. We accept all children from 4 years old (ideally in reception) into our small grouped lessons with experience and dedicated patient Instructors. Courses run alongside the school term and are held Monday to Friday from 4pm onwards in our warm teaching pool on the Harringay Ladder N4.

Each course includes a water survival lesson and a pool party !

My three children all loved their lessons, but in particular I loved how welcoming and responsive Karen and all the instructors were to my son, who is autistic and struggles with classes.

Brilliant

We've brought our four kids to Selkie swim school for years. The teachers are kind and patient and completely engaged with the children. Lessons strike a lovely balance between being instructive and fun, and each term is planned carefully so the level increases incrementally. From reception age to fun fitness swims in the evening for teenagers. I can't recommend enough!

Fantastic Swimming School

Wonderful swimming school. My nervous 4 year old has adapted brilliantly. From being scared of the water in his first session, he is now uber confident, goes under the water and loves his lessons.
My 6 year old was confident but lacked any form of co-ordination in the water. He is now swimming 20m (front and back) and coming on leaps and bounds. The difference is incredible. The class sizes are small which makes a big difference. Staff are warm and friendly and really engage with the children to instil confidence.
