Our ethos is that no woman should have to go through the experience of considering pregnancy termination, or dealing with a miscarriage or past termination, without support.
The Crossway Pregnancy Crisis Centre was set up in 1999, to support those facing the trauma of an unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy loss. We became a charity in 2005. Based in East Twickenham, London, we seek to support women, and their partners, in the boroughs of Richmond, Hounslow and Kingston.
We have found that our clients regularly say they benefit from the care of a trained listener, who is not personally affected by the situation they are facing.
As termination is a topic which generates controversy in the media, and differences of opinion, it is important for vulnerable women to know the attitude of the person to whom they turn for support.
The service that our Centre offers is unbiased, confidential, and free. We do not offer advice, or an opinion, on what a person should do in the case of an unplanned pregnancy.
