5Conservatory and Porch
5From signing the order form work started the same week.
The builders dug the foundations, built a dwarf wall and put a concrete floor for both conservatory and porch. These appeared to me to be of a high standard.
The glass part of the two structures was then fitted and now that both are finished I am very happy with the results.
There was a damp patch under some guttering and I phoned John, the boss, who assured me this was condensation. It has since dried out and not reappeared.
If I need any further building work done I will be contacting this firm.
A note for others thinking of getting a conservatory:
When built you will need to allow for having the insides finished, this means painting over the plaster, tiling and then fitting blinds. My area of around 20 square metres cost another £1500 to complete.
