I saw this restaurant had one, review, 1-star, so provide my (not very recent) favourable review. It was reviewed, favourably, by a Jay Rayner in the Guardian on 14 Jan 18, which prompted me to go; I have since been a few times (I'm not often in the area, but make a point of going if so), and always been happy. I tend to go for the unusual items on the menu that I can't get elsewhere (dry fried pig’s intestines, with dried chilli and Sichuan peppercorns). While, I'm happy, see what Rayner, the professional says. The only caveat is that I haven't been recently (last time a few months ago as of Jan 23).

AVOID AT ALL COST

Ordered x2 special fried rice & x2 beef fried rice for myself and colleagues in the office. the food tastes bland. seems like ordinary boiled rice, the rice was overcooked and another 2minutes cooking and it will be mashed rice. the beef cut is so little you can hardly feel this in your mouth. unfortunately we are so hungry, had no choice but to eat. definitely does not taste like Chinese food. terrible.
