Reviews
Awesome
5Shoddy work
1Guess what? A week later it again stopped working and this time the bonnet open sign was permanently on. I took it to another garage and they diagnosed that Sandy lane had not done a proper job and had also caused the bonnet open light.
I took it back for a third time and they resolved it for no extra cost but the windscreen washer still doesn’t work properly and I paid >£200
They didn’t even apologise for the shoddy work and for the inconvenience of me having to travel three times to them for their mistakes.
Excellent service, would recommend
5Many thanks regards, Andrew Hartley
Excellent customer care
5Cheated out of a lot of money
1Dear James S, The facts of your visit to our company are as follows; You called us to arrange an inspection on your motorcycle because it was running badly. We diagnosed the fault as badly leaking exhaust header gaskets and incorrectly set up fuelling system. We informed you of these findings. You asked us to carry out a repair. We informed you during the repair, of the difficulties in the repair as your badly corroded exhaust studs could not be removed from the cylinder by the usual means and would require drilling and tapping to repair. You agreed to this. We discussed the increasing bill with you to make you aware. We discounted the bill to help with the unseen extra hours. Upon completion we talked and showed you through the works we had carried out and the pile of rusty old parts we had replaced. I recall that you felt upset at the amount you had to spend on your bike. I am currently unaware of any legal action.
