What a perfect place to while away a few hours

Come rain or shine. Sandford Park Lido is the place to be to relax with friends during the summer months. Plenty of room to park your towels while you go for a dip in the warm clear water. This outdoor pool is 50m ( the length of an Olympic pool) long. There is lane swimming as well as a large area for recreation with a couple of small slides. The children's pool is as warm as a bath and perfect for introducing small people to the joys of swimming. Open May-October - I thoroughly recommend a visit!
