Saltire Memorial Company Ltd. is a well established manufacturing company under the personal guidance of Graham Watt who learned his craft in Aberdeen.

He was involved with Banff Granite Works Est. 1882, in a freelance capacity for several years before he acquired the business in 1998, on the retirement of the last of the Geddes family.

As the 21st century dawned he introduced progressive changes, including the use of computer-generated designs and lettering methods in the production of a wider range of monuments & commercial products. At the same time he continues to demonstrate the traditional craftsman's skills that remain an essential part of the trade.

Best service and craftsmanship

I could not have asked for a better job to be done on my mother’s plaque. I didn’t know quite what I was looking for but Graham took the time to understand my mums favourite things so that we could put the most amazing engraving into the granite!
I’m over the moon and it is a truly outstanding and everlasting memory.

I can’t thank you enough!

incredible craftmanship

I would like to thank the team for the amazing work done on my mothers stone. I am sure she would have been as impressed and proud of the beautiful detailing of the carving and engraving as I am!

Outstanding Quality and Dedicated to our Needs at a Very Sad Time.

We as a family just wanted to say a huge Thank You to Graham & his Staff for the design and manufacturing of our dad & grandad's beautiful, stunning, fantastic memorial.

It's been a very sad and dreadful 16 months for us since we lost such a truly wonderful person in our lives. We have a long and hard future ahead of us, but having a one off, totally different memorial designed for dad that we will look at each and every day will help our heartache and get us through.
