Large store with inadequate staffing levels. On most days there is only one staffed checkout and if you're really lucky that will close just as it gets to your turn. A real nightmare on busy weekends when customers do their weekly shopping. The store is located in a deprived area amid a great deal of sheltered housing with customers who are either unwilling or unable to use the self service machines. Very badly managed and run-down - will it survive?

I have entered the store this Wednesday. I was so tired so I didn't acknowledge the store is being closed at 10PM. I was doing my shopping and asked the manager of the store what time they close and he confirmed the time so I just asked him quickly to grab rice milk and I'm going. Making my way there I remembered I needed water as well which was literally next to me. I made my way that way and one girl which probably is working behind the counter called twice ,,Darling, We are closed so make your way to the self checkout.'' I said ok I'm going, so I made my way again to water section and she repeated and I said Can I just grab water and in my head I had: yes darling, I know what you feel because I work as hard as you so many hours and I just need that **** water. That was a very rude way and not professional at all to get rid of customers from the shop which in my opinion should change.
