When this customer experienced a system crash, the hard drive would no longer boot up. I was able to recover over 1000 images and 7000 songs within 2 hours. The total for work was just £80. I am able to recover all kinds of files from hard drives that are failing and systems that have crashed.

This customer accidentally knocked the charger on her laptop and broke off the DC jack. I ordered a new DC jack and then soldered it onto the laptop motherboard. The total cost including labour was just £60.

This laptop was running very slowly due to overheating. Upon closer inspection the laptop fan was badly blocked and the thermal paste had dried up on the processor. I unblocked the fan and replaced the thermal compound and now it runs like new. The cost of work was just £30

Unbelievable service, beyond reasonable prices. Absolutely above and beyond.

Managed to spill a pint of liquid all over the keyboard of my 5 month old, £1300 (on offer) laptop and was absolutely gutted. I use my laptop everyday for work and personal use.

Richard was happy for me to drop it off with him (out of hours, it was about 7pm). In order to minimise the damage already caused, he immediately (that evening!) worked on cleaning the liquid away from the motherboard, again, well out of hours and beyond expected service.

He made it clear when I initially spoke to him, he is happy to diagnose issues for free generally, but if there is more detailed/extensive work, he pre-warns you that there might be a £20 fee, which is beyond reasonable when it comes to the cost of the equipment he uses to fix/diagnose the issue, and the time it takes to do it.

Its also worth noting that he explains everything about a repair/diagnosis etc to his customer.

100% will be calling him again when I inevitably do something stupid with my laptop.

I contacted Richard having had him recommended to me by another repairer who was unavailable. Having seen the reviews for S8 computers, I thought they appeared to be too good to be true. I was wrong. Richard was helpful from start to last, maintaining regular contact, updating me and discussing the next steps. A slow running Acer laptop is now running faster than when it was new five or six years ago and for much less than I expected to pay. I have already recommended Richard to others and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. Thanks again Richard

Richard was pleasant and helpful from first to last. He took my details over the phone so he already knew where to start when I delivered it to him. I know my way around the innards of a PC, but this was out of my league; it wasn't a simple job. I took it to him Thursday noon and it was ready the following morning. And the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

After speaking to Richard on the phone about problems with my Macbook Pro, I took the computer to him and he immediately identified and rectified the problem, charging me only a nominal fee for his trouble. Thank you!
