S.V.S Repair

Car died on the drive, called about a dozen mobile mechanics (some busy others not returning calls). SVS called back and I got lucky with a cancellation and got the work done PDQ. On time, quoted for the work, all done and dusted under an hour. Top man, would recommend him.

Steve has looked after our two oldish cars for about seven years after my wife, in exasperation, strongly suggested using a mobile mechanic, or else..... We found Steve through the Yellow Pages and had had no previous connection with him. He has reballed the Xantia suspension, rescued us with fresh batteries after hours, gets our cars through MOTs and performed an emergency head gasket replacement needed for visiting while she was in the Royal Papworth Hospital. He is timely, very conscientious, good value for money and doesn't recommend unnecessary work. Apparently he used to do emergency roadside repair work so he's familiar with most vehicles and their problems. He's just worked on both our cars in one day and finished early. Happily he also now has a fixed base as well as a van so he's not always lying under cars in the rain. We would recommend him so look out for his current slim Hell's Angel appearance!

When I ran out of skill repairing my car this guy came round and sorted it !!! Cannot recommend him enough a real mechanic who knows his stuff and added to that a great guy too !! Will I use him again...you bet I will.
