Reviews

Very bad experience!

1
Very bad experience with this company. Had them round to quote for water ingress to window sills and to replace some broken roof tiles only. The surveyor then informed us that we needed to reflaunch our chimney. It looked fine from what we could see but decided to trust his advice even though this was unplanned work at additional cost. After the work was completed, large chunks of plaster started breaking off from the chimney stack and landing on our driveway and patio. A chunk of plaster hit my daughter's shoulder one morning, just missing her head. I contacted SG and asked for the MD to meet with me to discuss. Despite repeated requests, he refused to do so. He claims to have made a site visit but if he did, he did not let me know about it in advance. In short, the MD is refusing to take responsibility for what we believe is negligent workmanship and claims that the plaster is disintegrating for reasons unrelated to their work. We disagree and are therefore taking legal action.
