S Cottingham Joinery

Having recently moved to the North East, we were recommended to contact Mr Cottingham by an experienced builder to help manage our total refurbishment of both our commercial and non commercial premises in the heart of Barnard Castle. We don't usually post reviews but after Mr Cottingham's work we thought we must. He has done everything; doors, flooring, walls and all sorts, I would say this using technical language but Mr Cottingham managed the job, so we didn't have to worry about all that!

Recently bought and renovated our 4 bedroom house and took it right back to a shell as it hadn’t been touched for years, so it was a huge job and we are over the moon with the joinery work completed by Stephen. He has done a fantastic job and his finish is second to none. I would recommend his work to anyone, everyone who visits comments on many aspects of his work and how it professional the finished product is.

Steve has helped us transform our new home from a dated house to a modern family home. He has changed doors, fitted new skirting boards, fitted a new staircase as well as blocked doors off and built new door frames for us. Nothing is too much trouble and he is a complete perfectionist. Stephen has just completed the fitting of a wooden floor in our dining room and hallway. He is a complete perfectionist who insists on completing his work to the highest of standards but in an amazingly quick time.
