Awful experience

I strongly advise anyone who is thinking of using this company to think twice. After taking a substantial deposit for the supply and fitting of a lot burner, I have been met with a barrage of excuses as to why he cannot complete the work. He is also refusing to return my deposit. I have since found out that Mr Reid is not Hetas registered so is working illegally.

Not a legit company

Do not contact this company. He is not Hetas registered and has provided us with a false Hetas certificate for the log burner he fitted. He also promised work to my parents and didn't show 3 times and 6 weeks later still has not paid back their £2000 deposit. Reported to trading standards.

Be wary when dealing with this company

Not sure what has happened here but the company were recommended to us from a local builder as we had recently moved to Bexhill and needed some work done. We paid a substantial deposit but after a month of waiting, no work was carried out and a few excuses given. We politely asked for our deposit back and thought we would just draw a line under this but a further 3 weeks down the line are still waiting..... really cannot understand this. We would have been future customers and would have recommended to friends and neighbours. With no communication from the company, despite our numerous requests, we are left with no option but to start proceedings through the small claims court to try and get our money back. A very sad ending and not something we would like to do but have been left with no choice.
