Specialised Autos and Motorcycle Services (SAMS.) was founded in September 1997, and currently operates from an acre site CLOSE TO THE WINDMILL AND RAILWAY STATION IN THE MIDDLE OF HECKINGTON, near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. OFFERING 24 HOUR 365 DAYS A YEAR BREAKDOWN & ACCIDENT RECOVERY SERVICE WITH OUR COMPREHENSIVE FLEET.

When the company was first started by Dave and Lynn Bradley, it operated from a small 30 square meter 'workshop'.

From these humble beginnings, through shear hard work, and dedication to total customer satisfaction, the business has grown to occupy an acre site in Heckington, with 2650 sq mts. workshops, and four full time mechanics.

Our History

•Company started in 1997 and operated from a 30m2 workshop.

•In 1999 we bought 1 acre site in the middle of Heckington consisting of large premises where we operate a vehicle repair shop, MOT's covering classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7.

We built a new workshop in 2007 and an extension to the existing workshop giving us greater working space.

•In 2010 we bought neighbouring land and we have just (2012) completed construction of our end of life vehicle storage facility and accident and breakdown recovery fleet.

•In 2011 we built a dedicated tyre fitting and balancing bay, equipped with state of the art equipment. We can also offer 4 wheel laser tracking and with our new 13 tonne 7 meter platform MOT ramp, we can offer large class 4's such as campers/motorhomes. We have further developed with our HGV inspections, we are a state of the art roller brake tester, and play detection plate to offer the complete package assisting with pre MOT inspection for class 6.
