A Very Worthwhile Fitness Experience

With a goodly collection of decades behind me I must be one of the oldest of Ruth's clients and yet still struggling to find time to exercise as I know I should.

Ruth has been a wonderful inspiration, always smiley, always encouraging, always ready to praise my efforts, however inadequate they may be.
In fact Ruth is a true professional, thoroughly reliable, flexible in the management of her appointments when necessary and with an infectious sense of humour.

I have much appreciated her time, her professional knowledge and expertise and especially her empathetic, understanding approach to my fitness. My individual programme has been perfectly matched and modified to fit my own personal capabilities, and carefully monitored and adjusted according to my progress. My awareness levels of posture, diet and fitness are much improved and my whole experience with her has been great fun!.

Brilliant! Ruth works me hard but makes every session such fun and so varied and always targeted to what I need. She definitely gets the best out of me, is kind and encouraging and I feel fitter and stronger now than I have in ages. Recommend 100%!!

Ruth really is wonderful. I was nervous about returning to physical activity after a long period out of it - but Ruth has made me feel totally at ease. She is very encouraging, supportive, knowledgeably and fun to train with. Ruth plans my PT sessions beforehand which are always varied. An excellent trainer, a true professional and prices are really fair. If you’re looking for a decent trainer, I would highly recommend Ruth Murphy.

4.8cm lost from my abdomen in 2 weeks!!

I contacted Ruth at the beginning of Nov for an intensive two weeks of PT sessions to improve my muscle tone, body shapes and general fitness before an event I had. (Weight loss wasn’t my goal as I’m around 57kg and happy with it). We covered all 11 sessions in that period - Ruth kept the sessions varied so I was always pushed but at the same time, and this demonstrates her experience, she instinctively knew when it was too much for me.
In those 2 weeks my cardiovascular fitness improved by 4 categories! But most impressive was the loss of over 4.5cm from my abdomen, and 2cm from my hips. Ruth also taught me a lot about posture which is invaluable and has helped with my form and core strength.
Ruth is an excellent PT who delivers results. I would not hesitate to recommend her and will be going back to her as soon as I can!
