LGSM (Piano performing and teaching); LMusTCL (Music theory); CTABRSM (Postgraduate teaching certificate in piano pedagogy and music education); NSPCC child protection awareness in music; FISM (Fellow of the Incorporated Society of Musicians); PMEPTA (Professional Member of the European Piano Teachers’ Association).
🏠 Ruth’s bijou piano studio is now well established in Thornton Fields, near the junction of Fleetwood Road North and West Drive. It is purpose built, and houses a new Yamaha C2X conservatoire grand piano and a top of the range Yamaha P-140 stage piano for the students' lessons.

5Lessons are conducted in pleasant and comfortable surroundings and above all else she will only teach on a one to one basis unlike some music schools.
In my opinion this is a must for anyone wishing to play the piano seriously.
Forget all those internet piano gimmicks and get back to basics with a good solid teacher who has a proven track record over the years!
