To keep it short my vehicle wasn’t brought to Russell-parry even though I booked it in for that day on the hastings website.
So straight away Jan saw something very wrong in all this so she went to work on the phones to everybody involved. And man did they get it! By the end of a good hour or two Jan finally and forcefully was able to get my insurance company to send over a cover note for the courtesy car. She located my car and where it was being held (none of which my insurance company informed me of). Even though my car hasn’t been touch by the Russell-Parry garage team yet... After Jan’s amazing attention, efforts and compassion towards me and my young son, who (thanks to Hastings) were really stuck with nowhere to go. I would say that if this is the service I get from a company that hasn’t even received the job yet, I’m pretty sure they do a hell of a job once they get it.

Took my car to Russell Parry for extensive damage repairs to my Mini One. They were very knowledgeable and talked me through the process from start to finish. They kept me updated from the moment I left my car with them and were always professional and friendly. Jan on reception was amazing and always rang when she said she would. Can't thank you enough! The work they have done is exceptional, would recommend to anyone!

Don’t trust any verbal communication from this firm - the assessor reassured us adamantly a job would be around £300 to £350 at the very most, but then we were stung for £530 when we picked up. This firm is probably fine and dandy for insurance repairs, but go elsewhere if you’re paying yourself and want a straight talking service.
