Mike gave me a 8 day course as I had driven before. The course was well planned out we covered everything and I passed my test first time. He provided extra learning things and made things easy by drawing the manoeuvres out and then doing them step by step with easy things to follow. He is also a fun guy to talk to!

Mike is an exceptional driving instructor who helped me pass my driving test on the first try. He is a friendly and patient instructor who made me feel at ease behind the wheel. He has a wealth of knowledge and provides all the instruction you need to pass your test. He always remains calm and explains what you need to do in a clear and concise manner.
I found his teaching style to be effective and engaging. He assessed my ability and only handed me situations that I could handle, but constantly pushed me to be better. He broke everything down into bite-sized pieces of information so I could learn my manoeuvres quickly and effectively.
I would strongly recommend Mike to anyone learning to drive.

Mike got me through my test first time and helped me recognise and fix my mistakes in only 7 lessons.

At first I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get regular lessons, on account of living in the middle of nowhere.

Fortunately, RSL was there for me, so I received regular lessons every week at a great hourly rate.
My instructor was helpful, providing friendly conversation to keep me relaxed while I worked on following his advice and directions so as to learn how to safely and effectively handle a manual car (although though I wish now that I had just learnt automatic and saved some time).

All in all, I definitely can’t complain. The lessons were cheap, effective, and available, exactly what I needed.
