From the moment we got into the taxi, the driver was rude. During the journey he made a hostile attitude throughout the journey and texted whilst driving. After being notified that we didn't need picking up, he left a profane message.
My wife did question whether he held negative racial attitudes. If you're going to leave nasty messages at least have the guts to allow a response.

The driver was unnecessarily rude, uncouth and unprofessional.

Boaz was scheduled to pick up from a wedding venue at midnight. The folks due to be picked up (including me) did come out 5 mins late and other waiting taxis said Boaz was there but had driven off. I had no missed calls or texts from him. So we walked the 20 minutes back to our hotel in below freezing conditions.

I already had another taxi with him booked for the next morning which I could not miss as I had a train to catch. For the first five minutes of the journey he moaned about the previous evening saying he thought it was unacceptable and we did not think about the impact to his life - he could have had an extra hour of sleep. Since the taxi had already been paid for, the only impact to him was that he did not drop us off and that he got home 5 minutes earlier.

His arrogance, rudeness, impatience and self-centred approach left us all with a nasty experience.

Did not reply to messages despite agreeing a set fare and time to pick up from a wedding.

Boaz is a great professional and someone I now count as a friend after so many journeys together. He always tries to accommodate my chaotic schedule and is very reliable. He has also done many trips for friends and wider family. Only downside is if South Africa have lost at rugby that afternoon. Highly recommended!
