Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Follow up calls when new medication is started. Prescriptions processed promptly with a text service advising when they are ready.

I have just been waiting ten minutes outside Rowlands Phamacy behind a queue of six. Just as I got there the door was locked, when the next person came out I went to go in and the woman assistant said “we are closed”. Sadly I had to stand my ground and tell her the tablets were urgently needed and I had rung previously. She then went and got them. There were five people behind me who had all been waiting patiently. Had it not been for Covid they would have all been in the shop before the door was locked. It is not good to run a business this way. I have found some of the staff to be aggressive in the past. This is the last straw I will be changing to a different chemist.

I have been kept waiting at this pharmacy quite a few times, even when it is not very busy. There is no sense of urgency regarding serving the next customer and preference seems to be given to the elderly customers. Whilst it is nice that the staff chat to them, as a younger customer I feel I am being a nuisance just for being there. Conversation should be cut short when there is a customer waiting. I've even had an older customer push in and none of the staff seemed to notice or care. I will be changing my prescription to go to the Upper Aughton Road branch where you get served immediately.
