Reviews

Rude, expensive, unprofessional.

My dog visited this practice 3 times in 2 weeks, for the same problem. Twice we were told it was just a stomach bug, until on the third time, he was found to have something stuck I'm his intestines, which if unoperated on, he would not make it. I have paid £1500 twice for the first 2 consultations where nothing was found. I have then had to pay a further £3000, in which I was given half an hour to pay or else they wouldn't operate. When I went to collect him, I was told I had to pay a further £2000 before I could collect him. Having just paid £5000 I did not have access to the money until the day after, which had previously not been an issue. Twice they have put my dog up for ransome. Once with a price on his life and the other holding him hostage. Admittedly I should have had insurance, but until now I haven't been able to afford it. But, being treated very rudly In an emotional time and expected to have access to £7000 is not acceptable, my dog will never be taken to another rowe vet

Poor care

Took my cat in and they overfilled her with fluids causing problems with her heart and we then had to put her into intensive care

Out of hours vet

Took my very ill dog in as an out of hours patient, she was being euthanised, was not able to be with her when they prepared her.

When I was allowed in Molly was in a state, boiling hot clearly distressed, once she had passed we were told do you want to put her in the car first? Clearly talking about the bill payment, on the way to the door I was then reminded of the cost again.

No empathy from the vet, nice shinny building but a sub standard service with more emphasis on money making than pet care or owner feelings.

Steer well clear

some staff are poorly trained. They gave me miss information about times of appointments. Now I have to wait another month.

Took my dog to this vets 2018 ago as an emergency, they stapled my dog back together paid £100 that night. The next day my partner went to pick the dog up paid the rest of the balance in full. She came home with the invoice having paid in full. 12th sep 20 I received a text from a bailiff company, called the practice to be told they left me a voice mail on the 6th of Sep 2019 and would not discuss this with me anymore. I have the paid in full invoice thank god, but they have now made and reissued a new invoice 2020 with the same invoice number, they seem to make it up as they go along. Citizens advice have told me not to pay at all, and report them to the ombudsman.
