We would like to share with you our new care farm facility, opening at Rose Cottage, Hockley Heath.Solihull B945NH

After a long process of development and creation our new, and exciting service will open on Monday 24th April 2023.

Our service will be open Mondays to Fridays 7am – 7pm, with flexible hours offered.

Our goal is to give adults, with additional needs, purpose and satisfaction through horticulture and animal therapy. We will also provide activities such as baking, cooking, arts and craft to name just a few. Through our activities we will focus on building ability, confidence, and happiness. This will allow individuals to grow and develop, enabling them to access other community services, and support them to live more independently and potentially find work/volunteering opportunities.

Rose Cottage comprises an open plan living space, 4 individual private bedrooms, some break out rooms, and a sensory room. Our outside space includes animal housing, gardens, vegetable patch and field. Sensory garden,Whilst Rose Cottage’s main service will be day care, there is provision for the farm to be used for respite care, for up to 4 people at a time. This is a future development for the farm .

Our Provision

Person-centred day care for up to 20 adults from 16 years with additional needs

Meals and drinks provided with a varied menu and dietary requirements met

Social nights

Other activities arranged on request

Transport arranged as needed

Respite care up to 4 people – future plans

We will strive to ensure our provision meets the needs of different individuals who decide to join our exciting new venture.
