Rory McInroy Piano Teacher

I have over 30 years experience performing both as a solo pianist for functions and shows and with a wide range of bands and styles, including blues, soul, rock, pop, and big band swing. I have also been musical director for several theatre shows.

Now based in Oxfordshire, I play regularly on the jazz and function circuits and have many excellent professional contacts, including saxophonists, bass players, drummers, singers, guitarists and violinists, all of the highest standard. I can put together any size of jazz combo for your event from solo piano and duos with saxophonists, up to quintets and sextets with full rhythm section, horns and singers if desired. We travel to neighbouring counties.

All combinations are capable of varying the standard jazz repertoire with sambas, calypsos, rock and funky numbers to keep things interesting, and can play unobtrusively or step things up for dancing. Check out the music samples on my website.
