I have used Robinsons many times over the years but my recent experience has been poor. I ordered two light fittings over 3 weeks ago and was told 2 days for delivery. Since then I have called into the shop twice and made three phone calls to ask when they would arrive. On each occasion I was promised a phone update once they ‘found out’ what the delay was. I have not received one call. I have now cancelled the order.

These guys are first class. The advice in the shop is excellent and so is the quality of the workmanship.

What a Fabulous Find!! Inspirational Lighting ideas for all aspects of home, From Chandeliers to Sockets and Flexible lighting solutions. Downstairs is an Aladdin’s cave in itself but once you go up a floor be prepared for your imagination to be let riot.
All this backed by immensely knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming staff with informative advice and no question too big it too small. Left with hole in wallet but two beautiful pieces and tons of inspiration for remainder of our re-design project.

Always greeted when you first walk through the door by Friendly staff members. Great selection of lighting for everyone’s taste. When I ordered my light, they arrived 2 days later and was then given great advise on what bulbs to buy for the fitting.

W needed extensive lighting principally outside our home to provide ambient lighting as well as security related. I have a broad idea about what I wanted and Ian Robinson visited our home to prove a quote. Ian was very thorough and provided solutions to every aspect of what I wanted. No other electrician that quoted appeared to have offer solutions, only problems. Whilst not the cheapest Ian's professionalism and problems solving made it an easy decision. The two electricians turned up on time, were very tidy in their work and most importantly did an amazing job. Furthermore, Ian had fully briefed the electricians with drawings etc and therefore they know to the letter exactly what they were doing. I would without doubt recommend Robinsons, as you will be in safe hands. PS: This is the first review I have ever done, which speaks volumes of the excellent work undertaken.
