He has to do things twice to get them right.

The issues started when he arrived. He forgot required plumping parts. We had to travel round the country to find him 6 parts which took 2 trips. He then ripped off and broke the skirting; cut our brand new unit to make it fit; didn’t screw the unit to the wall, leaving it resting on wall plugs - fell off 5 mins after he left. He didn’t tighten the tap or water waste leaving it leaking. He hadn’t plumbed correctly and bent the radiator pipe; didn’t screw in the toilet or cistern (both left freestanding and dangerous); badly installed the new light - its wobbly and cracked; and worst of all (despite telling him our wallpaper was newly put up a few days earlier and to not touch) he willfully drew several lines in pen on our wallpaper above the top of radiator, ruining a £200 wallpaper job. How do we know all this - we got our usual plumber out who was originally too busy for the job when we needed it done. He said it is the worst job he has ever seen. He ignored requests for refund.

Had my range cooker plumbed in was very professional, he even repaired other issues with previous piping. Would recommend as he was so fast at getting the job done, he is also a great emergency plumber, my mums oil heating wouldn't start others said they would take weeks before coming out he came out sorted the problem very quickly this was in heavy rain. My house later on got a leak on other old pipes under my floors again i called up and that day he was out to look at the issue and next day he repaired my problem. This is all round the Christmas period without him my mum and i would be sitting in cold houses.

This so called plumber ruined £600 worth of material in my elderly mothers home.Brand new wall panels had to be ripped out.Fitted a radiator that does not even work and calls himself a plumber.left silicone all over brand new glass shower that cannot be removed.I would be surprised if he is a qualified plumber.Avoid at all costs.

If anyone decides to use NELSON PLUMBING please stay away. I wasn’t going to post this at this time because everyone is struggling but I have decided to because
1. He has left my house in such a dire state I cannot get it fixed
2. I don’t want anyone else being put in this position when money is tight
I needed a shower put in urgently due to an epilepsy diagnosis and a brain tumour whereby I cannot have a bath for serious risk of drowning. He called to price it seemed like a nice guy. He told me he would put the shower in re tile and put the shower screen up. He cancelled so many times. Whenever he eventually came he put the shower in, came back to tile a week later. Brought a woman with him (women have trades so I assumed she could tile). She clearly couldn’t. She kept the door closed the whole time clearly so I couldn’t see the mess she was doing. He then told me he couldn’t put the shower screen up. So the tiles are messed up.
