I am a fully trained carpenter and joiner. In my years of work on the Clovelly Estate in North Devon, I learnt many of the skills that I now use in my business. I have over 12 years of experience in carpentry and joinery.

I undertake a wide range of carpentry and joinery jobs, mainly focusing on window restoration and construction, kitchen fitting, laying of floors. gates, fencing and doors.

The Project:- 2 very dilapidated and non-functioning sash windows (5th storey) in a listed Grade 2* Victorian house which is close enough to the Atlantic Ocean to take full impact from wind and rain hence the sills and parts of the frames were rotten. The sash mechanisms were missing, also over the years one of the windows had ceased to fit the frame properly due to movement in the front wall of the building. As well as all that they had suffered badly at the hands of some unskilled, uncaring 'carpenters'.
In less than 3 days and with impressive skill, calm and sympathy for the age/history/dignity of the building Rob had restored both windows and frames to full working order - and painted them too.
I can't recommend Rob Holman highly enough - he is a craftsman.
