Rob and his colleague Jason have spent the last week in our garden.
During that time, a large ugly tree has been removed, a very smart new fence has replaced an ivy covered one, which was well past it's sell by date and was far more ivy than fence!
They then set to work pruning an old apple tree, again covered in ivy, but this time mixed with very thorny roses for added difficulty.
The ivy, which is a predominant feature in our much loved garden, has been brought under control, plants have been tamed and I can now start to plant against our new fence.
