Kitchen renovation.

From our first contact with Russell we were impressed with his approach to the work on our kitchen, his planning - with attention to detail, and the way he listened to our ideas, incorporated the items we hoped to include and came up with the idea of including a breakfast bar which has been a great addition. He was patient with us as we changed the plans (several times!) and he regularly kept in touch throughout the process, visiting while the work was being done and afterwards to see the end result.
Russell uses extremely good, experienced and friendly tradespeople and their work was done to a very high standard. Some unforeseen extra building work was needed at one point and we were very pleased with the skilled and professional way this was tackled and with the end result.

We are very happy with our kitchen renovation and have no hesitation in recommending RJR Kitchen and Bedroom Designs.

It got a bit challenging when the ceiling was taken down and the unsafe supports were discovered from a previous building task carried out a few years ago by a previous owner. We are blessed with a great team of trades and this was soon overcome which put the completion back a few weeks and I was so impressed by the way you both just took it in your stride throughout the stress of it all. The finished kitchen looks superb and I am so pleased we could ‘squeeze’ the breakfast bar area in and glad it’s getting lots of use. Russell helped us reconfigure the back of our house re-designing and re-locating our kitchen, re-designing our utility and creating a sitting area were the old kitchen had been

Russell was very helpful and engaged from the beginning and came up with what we felt was the best design which, happily, was competitively priced. He was always keen to listen to our feedback adjusting the plans accordingly and pointing us in the right direction when required.

The work was carried out to a high standard with just a small cost overrun which couldn’t have been foreseen. The trades people were a pleasure to have on site. With any significant work the unexpected happens. Things were pro-actively and pragmatically resolved. We are delighted with the results.

In the year since the work was completed we have had one small electrical glitch which was resolved within 2 days.

We would happily work with Russell again. Friends we recommended Russell to have also been delighted.
