Ritz Fish & Chips

If I could give it minus stars I would what a terrible takeaway,food was burnt to a crisp they even managed to burn a wrap some how worst takeaway I've had in a long time won't definitely won't be going back there ever

Used to be excellent gone here for years but the quality has suffered massively, very greasy tasteless food with loads of scabby chips & always have to wait ages. Tried the Gormans chippy in Barmston, amazing, I’ll be going there from now on.

Fish and chips second to none. Staff especially the big lad is always polite and happy!

Thought I would give them another try after being disappointed in the past so I had some food delivered.....Big mistake up all night burping due to strange tasting fat. When delivered and opened the chips had a burnt colour and the fish was covered in a soggy batter, They were stuck together and the fish was all broken up in pieces and when I picked them up my hands were covered in a load of fatty grease. The fish had a peculiar taste. Me and my wife ate a small portion and the rest went in the bin. When you pay over £10 for fish and chips you should expect to enjoy them. I rang the day after to tell them about my problem with the fish and chips only with the intention to make them aware of the fact they were of very poor quality but the gentlemen who answered the phone was arrogant and not bothered said business was booming and just did not care I just put the phone down. Had he been just a little concerned about his products quality and the fact they had been delivered and were virtually uneatable I would have not have bothered to write this review. I will never go again till I hear that the shop has changed hands and I think that will be sooner than later!
