We bought an annual pass for a school bus service between Claverdon and SGGS at the start of term at a cost of £1,200. This was the only option available. Unfortunately it became clear very quickly that the high pressure and competitive environment of a grammar school was the wrong fit for my sensitive daughter and we made the enormously difficult decision to move her to another school, where thankfully she is much happier. However Ridleys have refused to refund any of the cost of the pass we bought, even though my daughter only used it four times. I'm so disappointed with their approach and would really warn against using Ridleys for school transport if you have other options. The true ethos of a company shows in situations such as this one, and we have been so disappointed in the way this has been handled, without an ounce of compassion or understanding.

Travelled to Wembley from Coventry, The journey was exactly 2 hrs, we arrived at 11.08, we were told by the driver we need to be at back at the coach NO later than 1 hour after the final whistle, everyone was back on the coach by 7.25pm. As every other coach manoeuvred around us to leave, we sat there static, when i approached the driver to ask what the problem was, he said he couldn't go anywhere until 8.08pm as his tacho told him so. I did mention that the game went to extra time and penalties and if that didn't happen, we would have been on the coach at 6.25pm, would we have had to wait until 8.08pm to leave, his reply was yes... i pointed out that if he knew this prior to us getting off the coach, why didn't he tell everyone that we would be leaving at that time at the very earliest so be back at a time for that to happen. It raised another question, why didn't all of the other 150 coach drivers in the carpark have the same problem as he did. Your only as good as your drivers.
