We have used this company several times… BUT never again. Called into shop Saturday to book appt to measure, Monday measured told ring us later in week with quote. Nothing so sent husband to shop Saturday and he booked and paid for carpet.called and said fitting would be following Friday. So got up at 6am to empty room ready for fitting. Midday nothing so I tried to call 3 times and my husband phoned 13 times but NEVER an answer so resorted to going to shop. My husband stood outside of shop and called the number Richie’s wife sat there and let the phone ring. My husband went into shop to ask when carpets were to be fitted, she said it hadn’t been delivered.. no one called to advise us of this no apology for messing us around….. said carpet would be delivered following week and they would get in touch with us. My husband left the shop and decided to ring again. Richie’s wife sat there again and didn’t answer. So my husband went into the shop and asked for our money back. VERY POOR.

We recently moved to the area and had heard lots about Ritchies carpets, so we knew from the start we would be heading there.
Such lovely people, no hard sell, good advice and nice to support our local business, very happy with the whole experience and will definitely recommend to others

They were very helpful when it came to getting the right size carpet for my son's room. The carpet itself is very high quality, and it vacuums lovely, there's no overshedding. It looks really good and he's made up with it, nice and soft on the feet. Hardly andy new carpet smell which is good. I got him a new bed which had no smell, as being autistic he is quite adverse to this, so it was good his carpet didn't have that overly chemical smell too. The fitting was done quickly and efficiently, and was perfect. Was great value too. Highly recommend.
