After vacating my property, the tenant engaged Richards Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning to clean the carpets in the Dining Room and Stairs/Landing. Upon inspection of the carpets our view was that they had not been cleaned properly, or indeed if at all. there were visible stains within the carpet and the general condition was tired/shabby. We attempted to clean the carpets our self using an off the shelf Vax upright cleaner, with the solution that was provided with the cleaner. To say we were shocked would be an understatement. We emptied the cleaner 4 times, with the water being dark brown every time. It is my view that if the carpet had been "professional" cleaned ten this would have not happened and the dirt would have been irremovable stains, as advised when my wife called for an explanation. It would be my advise to either go elsewhere or look into cleaning yourself.
