Fantastic garden centre! Had a lot of variety and found the staff very helpful while enquiring about suitable plants for my very shady garden! Would definitely recommend a visit! Also suitable prices to cover all budgets.

Incredibly helpful and informative staff. Bought a wonderful display of orchids and spring bulbs for Christmas - they were healthy and so much admired. Thank you R G Houseplants.

I have bought many plants from Richard Griffiths, the last trip I bought 3 plants and one of them died of some sort of rot within 2 weeks. I returned to ask the owners advice, he kept me waiting for over 10 minutes even though another member of staff offered to take over while he dealt with my enquiry, when he did eventually deign to speak to me I was told to buy another plant and not water it until it was completely dried out. I did so and that plant also died. I haven't been back as I feel it would be pointless, the owner is haughty and obviously cares little for his customer base. Such a shame when it's such a nice shop and the other staff are lovely.
