RGR Southern Roofing

I contacted RGR (Southern Roofing) and Truesafe Roofing Ltd, because I had two leaking chimneys. Ruben Smith and brother Jimmy , came in Dec 2023. They put flashing incorrectly on the front chimney, ‘found’ a problem with a rafter on the back roof and put two sister rafters in, then replaced the felt, battens, slates and flashing. They charged me £4150, the chimneys still leaked, and I had to employ proper roofers to come in and put on an entire new roof, front and back. Two roofers who inspected RGR’s work called it ‘shocking’ and ‘disgraceful’. I’ve raised a claim against them in the Small Claims Court but the address on their website is of a ‘virtual office’ in High Wycombe, and they don't even have an account there. The address Ruben gave to Companies House is also a ‘virtual office’. A reputable, honest company doesn’t hide behind virtual offices. Their work was a mess. If you employ them you forfeit all your consumer rights and protections. Any Guarantee is worthless.

I am trying to get in touch with them to complete the job that I have fully paid for, no answer and left many messages, hopefully someone will get back to me

We used RGR Southern Roofing for my guttering on one of our property In reading there we took there advice on board and went straight with there quote and really pleased we did so and have already gave them 2 other property’s to do for us as we have leaks thank u so much and look forward to doing business with u for the rest of our property’s best wishes Tom Sure
