Excellent service and great knowledge of the market

We have been working with Renown and their customers for several years. They have a good reputation and are well regarded by their customers. They work very hard, and are often at work well after we have gone home.

Good until a problem we had with the property we were buying, through no fault of our own. Unfortunately and sadly the sale of our house fell through as we lost the property we were moving to. We searched and searched viewing other properties looking for something else to avoid letting down our buyers but unfortunately we couldn’t find anything else remotely close to what we wanted.
Renown then took it upon themselves to bad mouth us on their facebook page in a status they have since deleted. This was after they were messaged in regards to how unprofessional, rude and distasteful the status was.
Obviously there has been no response from the company but we would absolutely not recommend them as a company to use. Absolutely vile.

It has to be said, I did read terrible reviews before going with this company, but I stupidly disregarded them. That was my first mistake. I went to view a property a day after they advertised it on their site, decided that we loved it and we wanted to go for it. We then followed normal procedure by putting a holding deposit down and starting applications. Everything was fine by this point. All of our references came back and Rhys (who was dealing with our application) sent them off for landlords approval. This took quite a long time, and if I had not chased it up almost three weeks later I would not have found out that he had left the company and that FIVE other holding deposits had been taken and we were all in a “lottery” for one house. I wasn’t very happy but still was patient in hearing back who the landlord had chosen to go with. A week and a half of calling and we were constantly fobbed off over the phone. So we went in and were met with what could only be the RUDEST woman.

DO NOT USE. I never write reviews but I feel so strongly about this. Renown treat tenants like second class citizens- we reported problems on several occasions and they just got ignored. When we moved out we received a list of tasks to complete in order to receive our bond back which we completed. To then be told lies after lies and we are not getting anything back. Disgraceful way to run a business and handle customers. I cannot stress enough don’t use this company.
