The 1st room on ground floor we got placed in was damp and smelt so bad but they had the window open it wasn’t till we shut the window and came back in even friends came to check it out and as soon as they walked in they left because of the smell, Carpet damp and bathroom not clean so changed room to 1st floor and had 0 sleep because it’s so loud and cold I think the window is broken but the hotel isn’t very great I didn’t want to eat here and I won’t stay here again only had to deal with reception and staff twice but both times couldn’t fault them

Poor service and very basic

One of the reception staff was unhelpful and unprofessional, there was no food at all left in the restaurant which was dirty with damaged seating. My room was very basic and dirty, the towel was stained, the bed uncomfortable and there were other guests who said they were also unhappy with poor service. I would not recommend staying here and would never book again.

Worst hotel

Absolutely awful do not stay here! Paid £85 room a room and the bed was broken and mattress is like wood both me and partner did not a sleep at all! And now both have chronic back pain! The room smelt like smoke, bathroom was clean had hairs all in the drain of the shower and the walls! Absolute disgrace and you have to pay to park which was £5 so a total of £90 and the worst experience I have ever had a place like this! Definitely will never stay here again!

AWFUL HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is absolutely diabolical, never experienced a more traumatic stay in my life. I was just lying in bed and I felt a sudden itch to my legs. A sort of disgusting looking insect was scrawling and nibbling into my flesh biting away like I was scran. I pulled the covers back fast and there was a family on insects having a party in the mattress. My skin crawled as I flicked them off individually. Further more, cleaning myself feels like i’m just soaking myself in complete dirt, the silicone around the bath completely covered in mould. The lack of effort put in to cleaning this room for my stay which was paid for was utterly shocking, a rotten grape left on the floor, dirty mugs, dust on the window cill and around the TV. I will definitely not be staying here again.

This is the worst dive of a hotel I’ve ever seen in my life.
This is a £20 a night hostel, not a £60 per night hotel
I don’t even know how it could be called a hotel, they must have bribed someone to get a 3-star rating from anyone. If I could rank this zero stars I would.
It stinks like dirt and old men and stale wee*. The beds are soft and lumpy painful springs on top of springs, so painful I ended up trying to sleep on the floor, then I smelt the floor and gave that idea up
