Our paper Restoration involves cleaning artwork or documents on paper, including prints, engravings and watercolours and removing watermarks, foxing and yellowing of the paper.We can also restore your photographs, by hand or digitally.

Our painting restoration will often involve cleaning or varnish removal, re-stretching. Repairing holes or tears in the canvas. Consolidation of cracked or flaking surfaces. Re lining or strip lining, Filling and Re-touching areas of paint loss and varnishing.

The antique frame restoration will often involve a light clean. Consolidating and Stabilising flaking or loose parts and rebuilding missing areas. The new fills are then colour matched to the existing frame or gilded finish.

The ceramic restoration may involve cleaning and removing any previous repairs, removing old rivets. Fixing and securing any broken parts. Missing areas can be rebuilt and then colour matched and glazed to the existing ceramics. Alternatively, museum repairs can be carried out, which leave the repairs visible.

We restore many different materials in sculpture, including wood, plaster, jade, alabaster and marble.

All restoration work is carried out to a high standard, conserving objects and are in keeping with the antique patina. We use conservation grade materials which are non yellowing and non damaging to your artwork.
