We had a great experience on our kitchen extension with Marc, (so much so that we recommended him to my brother in law who is now using him for his project too.)

He was great at guiding us through the design stages. He listened to what we wanted for our red brick Edwardian house and helped us to make good practical decisions. He was also always easy to get in touch with by phone or email when we had questions during the construction phase of our project. It was a tricky time after covid restrictions had lifted to be able to get good people and Marc's contacts and advice helped make what could have been quite a stressful time much much smoother for our family.

I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good architect.

We approached Marc to design a 2 storey extension and ground floor reconfiguration. Marc listened to our requirements and created 2 designs which both fitted our brief. Marc worked with us refining the plans and redrawing them as necessary. Marc dealt with the Planning Department and Building Control as well as getting a structural engineers report for us. Marc was always willing to work with us to tailor our extension to fit our needs. Since finishing the extension we have asked Marc to do further work in relation to the build - this was completed again to the high standards we have always received. We would have no hesitation in recommending Marc as his ideas were innovative and maximised the existing structure of our house and surrounding plot.

We enlisted Marc Ballard’s help to extend our old stone home in South Belfast. It wasn’t the easiest of briefs as we also needed to extend our home to accommodate a disabled parent. Marc is a fabulous architect and the end result for us is a truly beautiful home with the most incredible feeling of space. Right from taking our brief and creating a beautiful home to managing the builders and every aspect of the build he has been brilliant. He’s very calm and truly listens to your brief and what you need and his skill as an architect is clear to see in the design work which has led to a stunning home. Working with an architect like Marc has given us a build that has the level of ‘detail’ and things we just wouldn’t have been able to do such as curved walls, bringing in different levels of light and creating different heights and making the home flow for our space but also suiting a disabled person. We're delighted with the end result.
