I have popped in a couple of times to get shears sharpened. The owner is very friendly and chatty and my shears are always super sharp.

Taken my Kennel + Schmenger boots (that isn't cheap make) to get checked and to repair soles, paid for the service.
Worn them once on my Trip to Paris and they wouldn't last a day!!!
Was embarrassing instead of enjoying my special planned trip hunting for shoe repairer near Eiffel tower.
Today went to the same shop "Rainham Cobblers" asking to fix boots properly, instead to fix his error he refused to sort them our and explained that he wouldn't give any guarantee, but happy to take money!
Terrible experience!!!
