Our home from home nursery is a warm and welcoming setting with qualified staff providing a stimulating environment for the children to learn and grow through play. We are registered with Ofsted Early Years and accept Early Years Education Funding for 3 & 4 year olds and funding for eligible 2 year olds.

We offer free flow play throughout the day so the children can explore and investigate both in and outside in their natural environment. We plan and provide based on individual interests and follow the child in their own learning. WOW moments and natural resources let the children play and engage in everyday routines and let them freely explore and grow at their own pace.

We pride ourselves in offering a safe, secure and educational environment working with the parents and children to offer flexible hours that are charged hourly.

Excellent childcare

Our son went to Rachael’s Rascals for a year and a half from being 9 months. Straight away Rachael’s warm and friendly approach reassured us (as slight nervous parents) and our son settled in straight well. He was always happy to go, made some lovely friends and experienced new things.
She was always accommodating to addition days we needed which was invaluable as my husband and I’s work patterns could be unpredictable.
We loved receiving the crafts and baked goods he been making that week and she put thought and care into these things.
She supported the routines we’d put in place at home like naps, feeding and potty training.
Our son was always so happy to go Rachael’s and it was lovely to see him grow in confidence in his time with her. We’re grateful for our time with Rachael and high recommend her to anyone need childcare.

My little girl loves it. She has been going since she was 9 months old and started with Rachael when she was a childminder. Rachael was so supportive to me as a first time Mam and made an amazing bond with my little girl. Now, she is 2 and a half and still loves going to see Rachael as much as she did. She has a different story to tell me every time i pick her up and she has so many lovely friends. Will always recommend this place!x

Amazing Nursery

My daughter, who is 2 and 1/2 now, has been with Rachael since she was 9 months old and has absolutely loved it since. The transition to a nursery has been great and she is coming on leaps and bounds, can really see her development each day.

An amazing place to be part of.

My son has been in Rachael's care since he was 8 months old and is now almost 3, he absolutely adores and her slogan 'second to mum' really could not be more apt. We are over the moon after being with her as a childminder and now following her to her new venture in her nursery setting. My son is loving the new setting and having the opportunity to be with so many other children and the staff there are lovely too. I couldn't be happier or recommend Rachael's Rascals highly enough.

Excellent childcare provider.

Rachel is a very experienced and knowledgable early years provider. She has a brilliant understanding of how to help the little ones learn through play and seems to have an endless supply of energy for craft and messy play with them! I recommend her business very highly.
