With over 35 years in the masonry trade, we've worked with every kind of stone. Trained by true craftsmen, we use traditional techniques to make sure that any repairs to your period property are all sympathetic to the original stonework.

Traditionally trained as rubble masons, we are a friendly and professional team who love the work we do. From constructing dry stone walls to sandstone buildings and repointing with traditional lime mortars, we offer a service that always results in work of the highest quality.

Incredible work from a very knowledgeable man!

Echoing other previous reviews, Bob is incredibly professional, polite, always on time, take immense pride in his work, and keeps you informed throughout the job. He recently removed some awful old pebbledash from the side of our cottage, revealing beautiful old stone underneath. He then repointed the wall with lime mortar, and even corrected some of the roofer's mistakes from the week before. We honestly can't thank him enough - the work looks stunning, and he was a pleasure to have around. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic service - highly recommend Bob for pointing

Bob completed a big pointing job for us on a 4 storey Victorian building with lime mortar. He was great to deal with and very efficient with a great knowledge of our specific requirements in order to preserve the character of the building. I would not hesitate to recommend him for repointing works. Thanks Bob

Excellent professional pointing

Bob repointed our 1960’s red brick house wall. The wall mortar was falling out in many places. The bricks had been originally badly laid making this quite a challenging job.
We are very impressed with the high quality workmanship and finish. It really does look like a new house.
Bob has a great work ethic, making sure the scaffolding is put up correctly, arriving early, quietly, tidying up every day, using dust extraction to ensure minimum impact from the mortar removal.
We would highly recommend Bob.
