Rd motors worked on my Mazda Bongo, sorted out the long travel on the brake pedal, carried out a service, fixed some bulbs that were out, repaired an issue with the gearbox, all for a very good price.

NO! to RD Motors services again. Bongo was MOT failure and this was RD Motors efforts to "Keep costs down for us.." (A) Welding (B) the handbrake was less than 50% efficient. We wanted a specialist and sought RD motors. Our quote was £300 and upto £350 for welding on the premise the sideskirt would be removed and a further £78 for the handbrake.

£808 later we find the sideskirt wasn't removed (we were still charged plus the VAT for it). And we were advised it would now require new discs, pads and shoes on the back.. Then another garage got involved when they seen the bill on the MOT retest in comparison to the actual work carried out. They said we were overcharged and called RD Motors themselves as they had seen the vehicle first hand before the work was carried out and were shocked why the bill of £808 was so unexpectedly high (regardless of how complicated Bongo's can be to work on) No good reason was given and then the Bongo failed on its MOT retest. = Handbrake insufficient.

I have used this place for years and have always found them to be fair on mot and on price for work done no con men here! Keep up the good work
