R C Taylor & Son Limited is a reliable, trustworthy, family run haulage company which was founded in 1956. We deliver all types of stone, aggregates and animal stock feed. We are based in the beautiful village of Bonsall in Derbyshire. We currently have three 8 wheeler, bulk bodied lorries and a team of reliable sub-contractors that we use in busy periods.

William ‘Bill’ Taylor founded the company in 1956. His son, Richard, joined him in 1971, the company was then called W G Taylor & Sons. Richard went on to set up R C Taylor in 1978. Richard’s son, Brett, took his HGV test as soon as he was 21 and became a partner in 2001. The company then changed to R C Taylor & Son. Brett has many years experience as a mechanic and undertakes most of the repairs and maintenance of the lorries.

The business has gone from strength to strength and became a Limited company in 2011. At this time, Brett’s wife, Mandy, joined the business as the Accounts and Office Manager.

In October 2015 Richard decided to retire from driving. He is still Transport Manager for the company and a very reliable relief driver. Ian McCathie took over as R C Taylor & Son Limited’s new driver.

We can supply and deliver stone of any size, aggregates, decorative aggregates, sands and gravels and top quality graded top soil.

We supply and deliver a wide range of animal stock feed – Sugar Beets, Fodder Beets, Carrots, Potatoes, Parsnips, Maize, Clamp Silage, All Crop. Prices vary throughout the year; please call us for a quote.
