Quietus Vet - Caring Pet Euthanasia

Never known a service like it, Yvonne and Paul came highly recommended by my auntie and uncle and I can now see why. It was a hard enough decision to have my boy put to sleep, and I wanted it to be as stress free and comfy as possible. Vets are fine don’t get me wrong but my perfect boy deserved better than going out of this world stressed and on a metal table. He went peacefully warm in his bed with his mum cuddled up next to him. Yvonne was amazing and by far the most caring and loveliest woman I’ve ever met. I barely knew she was there and I doubt Logan did either. The experience for me as well as my dog was the to the best standard and felt incredibly personal, I got to stay at home, be with my dog in private and not have to leave and walk into a waiting room full of people a crying, heart broken mess! If you have to make this kind of decision I beg you to contact them, you won’t regret it I promise. Thank you Yvonne for being an angel last week and looking after my previous boy

Thank you Paul and Yvonne for the caring and professional way in which you handled the sad but inevitable time when we had to say goodbye to Dylan, our dear 15 year old Border Collie. Having made that awful decision, we contacted Paul and Yvonne came out to us within just a few hours, ensuring that the whole experience was as painless as possible for all involved. Mum and I were able to be with Dylan in the back garden on a beautiful sunny day while Yvonne administered the 3 stage procedure with care and compassion. So much better than taking him to the vets.

Quietus provide an excellent service and we would not hesitate to recommend to others facing that difficult decision.

Quietus are absolutely NOT what you are hoping for. Paul and Yvonne operate a cleverly evolved animal disposal business. You risk a dispassionate/cold/controlling & rude experience. The initial contact with them is all about the transaction, you will hear a few lightweight words of commiseration, before how quickly you need to pay before booking. Next, in text/email: that you must open all doors and windows in the ground floor of your house. Then that you MUST at all times wear a face mask, it will be up to the discretion of the vet as to if/when you can remove it. They will stop if you dare to open the door without a mask on! Then bluntly instruct you on the stages taking place. Do YOU want a rude and blunt atmosphere of instruction & control over the final minutes of your loved one’s life? Finally, you will be carrying your pet onto the back seat of a car, no container or restraint, to slide around on a plastic cover. You will have NO timeframe in which you receive your pet’s ashes.

How i wish id found this wonderful pet service for my other fur babies i can not thank yvonne and paul enough for their empathy and understanding yvonne talked with us through the whole process which was not rushed and we talked and stroked our lovley molly moo who slipped away so peace fully we were able to thank molly for the love and laughter she had given us in the fifteen and half years we had her thank you yvonne and paul for this service
